Mary Kelly
Mary (Wackerly) Kelly was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, and graduated with honors from Lansing Catholic Central High School in 1973. She was recruited right out of high school by the law firm of MacLean, Seaman, Laing & Guilford, a distinguished and venerable firm known for its expertise in estate and tax planning, real estate dealings, family law matters, and pension and profit sharing plan expertise. Under tutelage of former Ingham County Prosecutor Charles MacLean, nationally renowned tax and estate planning John N. Seaman, Ingham County Probate Court Judge Donald Owens, and numerous other respected local attorneys, she spent 30 years with the firm learning the ins- and-outs of running a legal office, preparing estate plan documents and estate tax returns, drafting court pleadings, preparing commercial loan and real estate documents, and learning to meet the high standards of quality and confidentiality demanded by the profession. After the MacLean firm closed its doors in 2004, she cam to work for Nicholas Law Firm, P.C. and Preferred CPA's as Legal Assistant to Steven Nicholas and Administrative Assistant to Tami Nicholas. Mary is married to a veteran police officer, and they currently reside near Eaton Rapids with their two daughters.
